# Where to get your API credentials?

If you plan to use our integrations or you need API credentials for MyCarTracks to provide for your software developer follow these steps:

1. [Log in](https://www.mycartracks.com/sign-in) to your web account.
2. On the top right click on the button with your profile image or initials and select **Settings**.
3. On the left click on **API**.
4. Here you can find your credentials. If Client ID and Client Secret are empty it means you didn’t enable API yet. Just click on the Generate button. Don’t forget to click the **Save** button – if you don’t save your newly generated credentials they will not work!
