# How to turn off battery optimization on the Samsung Galaxy devices

Battery optimization on your Samsung phones or tablets can cause that recording is not working correctly and results in missing tracks.

**We recommend to follow these steps:**

2. Tap _ **Battery** _ at the bottom left.

3. Scroll down to _ **Unmonitored apps** _ and tap it.

4. Here the last item is\*\*\*+ Add apps\*\*\*, tap it.

5. Search for **MyCarTracks** , select it, and tap _ **DONE** _ on the top right.
