If another person needs to track trips for one of your vehicles using their own phone, you can add them as a driver with their email address. This allows the driver to use their own MyCarTracks account while accessing the vehicle you assign to them.
Add the driver in the web application

Sign in to the MyCarTracks web application.

Go to Fleet.

Open the Drivers & Devices tab.

Click the + button at the top of the page.

Select Driver with Email account and click Next.

Enter the driver’s details.

In the Driver email field, enter the email address the driver will use for their MyCarTracks account.

Under Vehicles, select the vehicle or vehicles you want to assign to the driver.

Click Save.
Set up MyCarTracks on the driver’s phone
The driver can now:

Install the MyCarTracks app on their phone.

Create or sign in to a MyCarTracks account using the same email address you entered when adding them as a driver.

Open the app and select the assigned vehicle. This step is important; the driver must select the correct vehicle and not his own or other vehicle.

Start tracking trips with that vehicle.
Once the driver is connected, trips recorded from their phone will be associated with the vehicle assigned to them.
Important
Make sure the driver uses exactly the same email address that was entered in Drivers & Devices. If they create an account with a different email address, the assigned vehicle will not automatically appear in their app.
